The tour exceeded all my expectations and provided an insightful and authentic exploration of Lima. Our guide, Carlos, was excellent. His knowledge of Lima's history and culture was vast, and his enthusiasm and passion for his city shone through with every story he shared. He took us through the streets of the historic city center, pointing out architectural details and sharing fascinating stories about Lima's rich history. What I enjoyed most about the tour was the chance to see places off the typical tourist path. Carlos took us to a local market where we got to taste exotic fruits and learn about daily life in Lima. We also visited an ancient church that wasn't on the original itinerary, but turned out to be one of the highlights of the tour. At the end of the tour, Carlos gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and bars, and we spent the rest of the day exploring Lima with his suggestions in mind. Overall, the Lima City Free Tour was one of the best experiences of my trip to Peru. It was educational, fun, and gave me an authentic insight into life in Lima.
